Lentera Angin Nusantara

Develop renewable energy and power generation technologies…..

Lentera Angin Nusantara “LAN” was initiated in 2011 as a forum for self-potential development through technology, aimed at the youths of Indonesia who are driven towards developing their country. This movement was established with the aim to contribute to the development of the country and resolve energy related problems in underdeveloped regions and the remote islands of Indonesia.

The wind turbine was chosen as the main product that was developed to tackle energy-related problems. The objective was to optimize the potential of wind in Indonesia which can be converted into electrical energy that can be used to meet the energy needs of the society.

In 2013, “LAN”, based in Desa Ciheras, Tasikmalaya, was officially established. The focused activities are designing, developing, and creating renewable energy generators, in particular wind turbines, with the finest performance and quality. The core technologies of the company both generators, controllers, as well as the blades are designed to be able of changing the natural energy with high efficiency in order to supply cheap electricity to consumers.

“LAN” continues to move to illuminate every corner of the country, as a form of social responsibility. The first project was the setting up of 100 units of micro-scale wind turbines, the 500W Sky Dancers in Sumba Island, East Nusa Tenggara. After trialing and testing the performance and quality of the wind turbines in Sumba Island for two years dan in the Ciheras research site for four years, ”LAN” continues to increase the capacity of the wind turbines to 2000W in mid-2015. In 2016, LAN will start to substantialize the ambitious energy generator which combines the use of wind turbines, ocean currents and solar panels.
